Vitamin C & Iron Nourishing Antioxidant Juice
At any point in the battle, or journey, through Crohn's disease or an auto-immune disorder or stomach issue you're going to be nutrient deficient. The body becomes so inflamed it no longer can absorb beneficial nutrients to feed other parts of the body. That's what happens in the colon, or large intestine, with Crohn's disease. This recipe is crafted around giving you vital nutrients from earthy vegetables, re-hydrating the body and pleasing taste buds.
2 oz (¼ cup) Cucumber Juice
2 oz (2 shots) Spinach juice
4 oz (2 shots) Orange Juice
2 oz (2 shots) Beet juice
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Cinnamon
Clean Purified Ice
Pour all of the ingredients into a mixer and shake for 1 minute
Pour over clean purified ice and enjoy
The Vitamin C from the beets and oranges helps build the immune system. The greens hydrate and offer nutrients that protect and build healthy blood cells. What We Avoided:
By going organic we avoided synthetic fertilizers that are difficult for our bodies to break down and process in a healthy way. We also avoided nutrient dead food by juicing from fresh farmers market foods, that have been picked within a day or two (for the most part).
